Dentures
At Athena we use the latest techniques and technology to produce high quality, durable and aesthetically pleasing dentures. Our expert team use creativity, skill and experience in producing our range of products, including acrylic and metal dentures.
Acrylic Dentures
Acrylic dentures can be used as temporary restorations in implant cases, or as a more permanent solution to tooth loss. We are able to offer patients a high-quality denture with the perfect fit.
Flexible Dentures
These dentures are made by injection molding nylon, making the denture almost unbreakable. The integrated clasps ensure excellent retention and the material can be used in combination with Co-Cr frameworks. These dentures are especially effective when used to create small partial dentures.
Metal Frame Dentures
Metal frame dentures are a long-lasting alternative to acrylic-only dentures. The frames offer good retention in the patient’s mouth due to a combination of strong clasps and suction due to the excellent fit. Special attachments can be integrated into the metal framework or cured in the acrylic part of the frame.
Athena offers two alloys for the framework - Co-Cr alloy and a Ti based alloy. We can design the framework for you or you can send us your chosen design. The main advantage from Titanium over Co-Cr is that it is lighter. Titanium is very bio-inactive and therefore most people with intolerance to metal may still tolerate it (please check with your patient). The metal frame can be combined with normal acrylic or with a nylon (Mediflex) based material that is flexible.
