Our products and services
When it comes to beautifully aesthetic restorative work, we can satisfy even the most challenging of requests. With the use of milled ceramics, feldspathic and synthetic porcelains and CADCAM technology we are able to achieve outstanding aesthetics, high strength and predictable shade matching, even for the most complex of cases.
All our technicians have extensive training and experience in the full range of materials for all ceramic restorations: e.max, milled Zirconia and bonding alloys such as traditional cast bonded alloys and full cast gold.
Registration
We are registered with the Medical Devices Directive General Dental Council, DLA and British Bite Mark. Registration with DAMAS is in progress.
Infection Control Policy
Our infection control policy agreement must be signed by the dental surgeon and us prior to the start of any dental restorative work and in accordance with HTM01 guidelines.
3D Scanning & Printing
We have recently invested in the latest 3D scanning and printing technology so that our clients can benefit from the efficiencies of digital design and production. By combining oral scanning, CADCAM design and 3D printing, we can accurately and rapidly produce crowns, bridges, stone models and a range of orthodontic appliances.
Shade Taking
As with all our work we welcome close collaboration with our clinical colleagues, ensuring your patient receives the perfect smile they're hoping for. Shade taking can be a complex, time consuming and a frustrating challenge for many dental clinicians, especially with today’s patients’ increasingly high demands for beautiful aesthetics. Here at Athena, we offer a comprehensive shading taking service - patients can either visit us at the lab or we can come to your surgery.
Treatment Planning & Clinical Guidance
Our experienced team are always available to discuss treatment planning over the phone. Our clinical directors are available to make practice visits to advise on case planning, to help adjust or fit a range of restorations and appliances, and offer support and advice as required.
